About the Examination Cell
The Examination Cell is an essential part of any institution to measure the overall performance of the students after completing the course. For this purpose, Bamundi Mahavidyalaya has formed the Examination Cell from the beginning of the college. As an affiliated college of Gauhati University, the Examination Cell of the college conducts all the examinations as per the instructions of the university authority. For this purpose, the college follows the academic calendar of Gauhati University every year.
Examination Process
The sessional examination is conducted by the college itself. For that, teachers set the question papers and evaluate the answer scripts. The final examination, i.e., external evaluation, is carried out as per the programme provided by the affiliating university.
Objectives and Additional Roles
The aim of this cell is to monitor the smooth conduct of all the examinations as per the norms of the affiliating university. Moreover, this cell also helps in conducting other examinations of the government departments for recruitment in various posts.
