Courses of Study

The College offers the following Course: Three-Years Degree in Semester System in Arts affiliated to Gauhati University.

Subject Offered:

BA (Arts): English, Assamese, Education, Economics, Political Science, Elective Assamese.

Honours Course Offered:

A student of TDC can take Honours Courses in any one of the following subjects:

TDC (Arts): Assamese, Economics, Political Science, Education.

Combination of Subjects:

Three Years Degree Courses in Semester Arts: English is compulsory for Regular Course. A student will select any three of the following subjects:

• MIL
• Economics
• Political Science
• Education
• Elective Assamese
• English Communication

Note: The College has no provision of teaching any MIL other than Assamese.

Honours Courses:

Candidates willing to study an Honours course must specify their preferred subject in the application form, with an optional second preference.
